At least four Israeli air strikes have hit the Haret Hreik area in the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital Beirut in the past few hours.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health says Israeli attacks killed 59 people and wounded another 182 across the country over the previous 24-hour reporting period.
About 20 rockets crossed into Israel from Lebanon: Army
The Israeli army says about 20 rockets have been identified crossing from Lebanon into Israel’s western Galilee area.
In a statement on Telegram, the army added that sirens sounded between 9:58am and 10am (07:58-08:00 GMT) due to the projectiles and some of the rockets were intercepted.
