Oscar John Lelo (Born 10 March 1996), better known by his stage name Whozu, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and entertainer. His music is a unique combination of Pop, Rnb, Afrobeat and native sounds from Arusha, his state. Whozu moved to Dar-es-Salaam in 2016 after finishing his primary secondary school studies and decided to go for what he likes. Since then he has released several records with Collaboration.
He attracted a lot of attention when his song “Huendi Mbinguni” was used as the main song at the main “Tigo Fiesta Festival” in 2018. He went on to release Roboti where he introduced a new smooth sound that captivated his audience. . The port released at the end of 2019 introduced a new African song that caught the attention of Tanzania.
